TOHL was founded by Benjamin Cohen and Apoorva Sinha in the aftermath of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.  The idea was born from the direct need for water in Port-au-Prince after conventional infrastructure was destroyed. Cohen and Sinha developed a method for quickly installing water systems over almost any terrain, dubbed Mobile Infrastructure.  Mobile Infrastructure was the technology that launched TOHL, and TOHL now offers permanent and mobile infrastructure solutions globally. With projects already completed in four countries and three continents, TOHL aims to bring water to the world by 2050.
